Research & Writing

My research and writing are an extension of the questions I am already working on in AI governance and healthcare AI. Who makes consequential AI decisions, how risk should affect oversight, what meaningful human involvement looks like, and what organizations need to watch once AI is in use.

I am using research and writing to go deeper into some of the questions I am seeing around AI governance and healthcare AI. My current areas of focus include decision-making and accountability, risk, human oversight, clinical use of AI, what happens after deployment, and how organizations respond when technology changes or does not behave as expected.

I am working on the issues that are still not well resolved in practice. My goal is to use research, writing and real-world experience to develop these ideas further and contribute practical thinking that organizations and leaders can actually use.

I am also increasingly interested in the effect of AI on clinical judgment, professional expertise and healthcare decision-making. I use research to examine these questions more closely, challenge my own assumptions and develop ideas that can eventually be tested and applied in practice.
